UniversaCare is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to take full ownership of daily operations and ensure the company runs efficiently, compliantly, and profitably. This role is the operational backbone of the organization—managing people, compliance, finance, marketing, and systems—while partnering with leadership on strategy and growth.

We’re looking for a handson leader with healthcare or home care operations experience and an AIfocused mindset who thrives in a fastpaced environment and can independently manage all operational functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Own daytoday operations across clinical, administrative, and corporate functions; act as final escalation point for staff and client concerns.

• Financial Oversight: Review payroll, manage billing and AR, track productivity, overtime, and KPIs; deliver concise executive summaries.

• Marketing Operations: Oversee outreach, lead conversion, CRM accuracy, and digital presence; drive accountability through standups and reporting.

• HR & People Management: Full authority over hiring, firing, compensation, PTO, onboarding/offboarding, and performance management.

• Compliance: Lead DOH and regulatory oversight, audits, CQI reports, and ensure readiness at all times.

• Vendor & Facilities: Negotiate contracts, manage office operations, approve supply requests, and oversee leasing/facilities.

• Systems & IT: Manage Microsoft Admin, Teams, healthcare platforms (HHA Exchange, AxisCare), provisioning/deprovisioning, and ensure scalability/security.

• Executive Communication: Provide decisionready summaries across finance, marketing, staffing, and compliance; escalate only material risks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations leadership, preferably in healthcare or home care

• Strong leadership, organizational, and problemsolving skills

• Experience with operational systems, reporting tools, and compliance management

• Knowledge of AxisCare, HHA Exchange, or similar platforms is a plus

• AIfocused and technologydriven approach preferred

• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
