Finance Coordinator Remote Across Canada
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of billing processes and practices (e.g., invoicing, payment posting).
- Proficiency in financial or billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or custom software).
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (HIPAA).
- Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle large volumes of transactions.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Problem solving abilities to resolve discrepancies with invoicing or accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Generating and sending invoices to customers or clients.
- Reviewing and reconciling billing data.
- Addressing customers' or clients' inquiries.
- Monitoring aged receivables and contacting clients for collection.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, policies, and guidelines.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED (minimum); associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is often preferred.
- Previous experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar financial role (1-3 years typically required).
- Fluent in English mandatory, Spanish and German strongly preferred.
