Smith Alston, PLC, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented pre-litigation paralegal to manage personal injury cases from initial intake through the demand phase. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, manage medical record retrieval, and ensure all case files are complete, accurate, and ready for potential litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Handle a heavy caseload from client intake through the preparation of demand packages;
- Insurance Liaison: Open insurance claims, confirm policy limits, and maintain regular contact with adjusters.
- Client Communication: Act as the primary, empathetic point of contact for clients, providing regular case updates.
- File Organization: Maintain meticulously organized digital case files without our case management software.
- Deadline Tracking: Calendar and monitor all pre-litigation deadlines, including the statute of limitations.
