Department : Engr UndergraduatePrograms Salary : Commensurate with experience Description : The Cullen College of Engineering at the University of Houstonis seeking applicants for a non-tenure track Lecturer position inthe First Year Experience (FYE) faculty group. The regular teaching course load for this position is twelvecontact hours per a long semester (i.e Fall and Spring), often withseveral sections of the same course in any semester. Courseassignments will be at the undergraduate level, focusing onfirst-year engineering courses and a limited number of sophomoreengineering courses as well. This is a full-time, benefits eligible, non-tenure-track position,as a Lecturer. Appointments are made on a 9-month basis, salarycommensurate with experience. Qualifications Ph.D. in Engineering with teaching experience at the universitylevel Required Attachments Curriculum Vitae; Unofficial Transcripts; Teaching Philosophy orStatement Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment andwill be requested upon selection of the final candidates.
