Senior Account Executive - Retail Technology & POS Solutions

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive with a strong background in selling retail POS systems and related technology solutions. This individual will be responsible for developing new business, expanding existing customer relationships, and managing complex sales opportunities with mid-market and enterprise retailers.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new business development by identifying, prospecting, and securing mid-market and enterprise retail customers.
• Sell comprehensive retail technology solutions, including POS hardware, software, integrated payment systems, and related services.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and discovery through solution presentations, proposals, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Develop relationships with C-suite executives, IT leadership, operations teams, and other key decision-makers within retail organizations.
• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customer accounts, identifying opportunities for additional products, services, and technology upgrades.
• Understand customer business challenges and collaborate with internal technical teams to develop customized technology solutions.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, manage forecasts, and consistently achieve revenue targets.
• Develop long-term customer partnerships and deliver a consultative, solutions-focused sales experience.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful B2B technology sales experience, preferably selling to mid-market and enterprise customers.
• Direct experience selling point-of-sale (POS) hardware, software, or complete POS systems to business customers is required.
• Strong understanding of retail technology environments, POS platforms, and integrated payment solutions.
• Demonstrated success generating new business, managing complex sales cycles, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Experience selling to multiple stakeholders, including executive leadership, IT, finance, and operations.
• Proven ability to manage both new customer acquisition and existing account expansion.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote sales environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience selling enterprise or multi-location retail POS solutions.
• Background with retail technology providers such as NCR Voyix, Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, Oracle Retail, Diebold Nixdorf, Verifone, Aptos, or similar organizations.
• Familiarity with integrated payments, self-checkout solutions, retail hardware, and software implementation projects.
• Experience managing strategic accounts and navigating longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
