MLK Community Medical Group (MLK CMG) is expanding its clinical footprint with a brand-new, premium outpatient clinic located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. We are actively seeking a dedicated, board-certified Family Medicine or Med-Peds Physician to join our growing multi-specialty group. In this rewarding role, you will trade traditional fee-for-service constraints for a care model built on ample patient time, comprehensive social support, and clinical autonomy. Duties & ResponsibilitiesCompassionate Patient-Centered Care

• Outpatient Clinical Excellence: Provide comprehensive, high-quality primary care to a diverse urban population, managing an average, highly sustainable panel of 20 patients per day .

• Integrated Care Collaboration: Partner dynamically with an extensive on-site support team—including clinical pharmacists, licensed social workers, nurses, dietitians, and diabetic educators—to seamlessly address both medical needs and socio-economic barriers.

• Behavioral Health Integration: Collaborate closely with on-site psychologists and addiction counselors to deliver truly holistic physical and mental healthcare.

• Healthcare Delivery Design: Actively participate as a physician executive in designing, modifying, and implementing cutting-edge workflows to optimize community health outcomes.

• Dedicated Administrative Focus: Utilize 4 hours of weekly administrative time (which can be completed on-site or 100% remotely) to manage charting, patient follow-ups, and strategic care coordination.

• Academic Alignment: Support the organization's overarching mission by engaging with our accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program and medical rotation partnerships (including UCLA, Harbor-UCLA, and USC).

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school with a doctorate degree (MD or DO).

• Board Certification: Current Board Certification in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics (Med-Peds) .

• Experience Baseline: Minimum of two (2) years of successful post-residency clinical experience in a primary care setting.

• Regulatory Alignment: Must possess an active, unrestricted California medical license and valid DEA registration.

Desired Qualifications

• Language Capabilities: Bi-lingual fluency in Spanish is highly preferred. Note: For non-Spanish speaking physicians, a dedicated Spanish-speaking scribe is fully provided to ensure flawless, efficient patient communication.

• Socio-Economic Advocacy: Passion for and experience in delivering sophisticated healthcare within historically underserved urban communities or safety-net medical systems.

Location and Work Type

• Work Type: Full-Time, Permanent Position. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

• Work Setting: 100% Outpatient care at our brand-new Downtown Los Angeles clinic, located just 1.3 miles from the Crypto.com Arena (formerly Staples Center).

• Geography: Situated under 30 minutes from LAX and adjacent to premier coastal communities like Manhattan Beach, Marina Del Rey, and Torrance, offering world-class urban amenities and beachside recreation.

• Schedule: An exceptional, balanced lifestyle rotation: 4 days of on-site clinical care (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) plus 4 hours of flexible administrative time per week. No inpatient rounding required.
