Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a current Washington state license and relevant certifications to join our team. The RRT will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to a diverse patient population, including those in family maternity, obstetrics, and adult critical care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures.
- Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy.
- Perform arterial punctures and manage intubation where necessary.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate and implement care plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy.
- Active Washington state respiratory licensure (RRT).
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS.
- Experience with charting in Epic system is required.
