People & Culture Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION

The People & Culture (P&C) Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Pizza Hut US & Global Functions People & Culture team by coordinating core HR processes, administering employee programs, and delivering exceptional service to employees, managers, and P&C Business Partners. Through these efforts, the coordinator helps create a seamless and engaging employee experience across the full employee lifecycle-from onboarding and integration through development, engagement, and offboarding.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Employee Lifecycle Support

• Lead and facilitate New Hire Orientation for Pizza Hut US based ARL employees, creating a welcoming, engaging, and informative onboarding experience.
• Coordinate all pre-boarding activities, including preparing and distributing new hire communications, collecting required documentation, and ensuring timely completion of onboarding tasks.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, P&C Business Partners, Hiring Managers, IT, Payroll, and Facilities to ensure employees are set up for success on day one.
• Support employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, organizational changes, promotions, transfers, and offboarding activities.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance the onboarding and offboarding experience through process improvements and employee feedback.

HR Operations & Administration

• Maintain accurate employee records and organizational data within ADP Workforce Now, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Serve as a trusted resource for employee and manager questions related to HR policies, processes, systems, and programs, escalating inquiries as appropriate.
• Generate, analyze, and maintain routine and ad hoc HR reports using ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Excel to support business decisions, workforce planning, and People & Culture initiatives.
• Coordinate administrative and operational activities that support the P&C Business Partner team and broader People & Culture function.
• Ensure HR processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.

People & Culture Programs & Projects

• Support the execution of key People & Culture initiatives, including employee engagement activities, performance management, talent development, recognition programs, and organizational events.
• Manage the administration of Pizza Hut's quarterly Secret Shopper employee gift card program, including maintaining participant eligibility, adding new hires, removing separated employees, and ensuring timely quarterly gift card funding.
• Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies, processes, tools, and resources.
• Coordinate project timelines, track deliverables, and provide administrative support for cross-functional HR initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve the employee and manager experience through operational excellence.
• Support special projects and other People & Culture initiatives as assigned.
• Perform other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned to support the evolving needs of the People & Culture team and the business.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources or a Coordinator role.
• Demonstrated passion for building a career in Human Resources.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to manipulate data, generate reports, and present information in a clear and meaningful way
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays and in-office collaboration at the Plano Restaurant Support Center (RSC) on Tuesdays through Thursdays, with additional in-office presence as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience working with ADP Workforce Now or another Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
• Experience coordinating projects, events, or cross-functional initiatives.
• Knowledge of HR best practices and employee lifecycle processes.
• Experience supporting a corporate organization.

Salary Range: $64,900 to $68,000 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
