Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout their procedures, providing clear, compassionate explanations
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate, maintain, and promptly report any equipment malfunctions related to imaging devices
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and maintain adherence to best practices

Education and Experience

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or relevant area
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Required Skills

• Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging and appropriate patient positioning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
