Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in sonography techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a similar accrediting body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
