Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Representative role based in Richmond, VA. The Sales Representative will engage with prospective and existing homeowners, explain renovation offerings, and guide customers through the sales process from initial inquiry to closing. Daily responsibilities include conducting in-person consultations, assessing customer needs, preparing quotes, and following up on leads generated through marketing and referrals. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in sales systems, collaborating with installation and customer service teams, and meeting or exceeding individual and team sales targets. The Sales Representative is expected to build strong relationships, represent the brand professionally, and support a positive customer experience throughout each project.

Qualifications

• Proven sales skills, including lead follow-up, consultative selling, and closing techniques in a customer-facing environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical or product information in clear, simple terms
• Customer service orientation, including active listening, problem-solving, and maintaining professional, respectful interactions
• Basic business and technology skills, such as using CRM tools, email, and standard office software to manage leads and sales activity
• Ability to work on-site in Richmond, VA, travel locally to customer locations, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Prior experience in home improvement, construction, or a related field is beneficial but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or business is a plus
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends, based on customer availability
