State & Local Government Senior Account Manager

Responsibilities Takes ownership of new product, services, and/or solutions sales for assigned State and Local Government (SLED) end‑user accounts. Develops and executes sales strategy with limited managerial input, establishing strong relationships with key customer contacts. Creates and delivers high‑impact sales presentations and product trainings. Leverages relationships with other business units and external partners to deliver comprehensive solutions. Initiates and leads customer presentations, crafting value propositions. Applies solution‑selling concepts, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Works under general supervision, making moderate‑complexity decisions that influence deliverables. Qualifications Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years selling technical solutions within the SLED (State, Local, and Education) industry, with specific experience in Public Safety (First Responders, Law Enforcement, and Fire/EMS). Must reside within the Northeast United States and be able to travel approximately 50% of the time. Preferred: Experience selling mobile technology solutions (handhelds, printers, tablets). Strong technical comprehension in a highly technical environment. Demonstrated ability to develop and adapt advanced sales strategies to unique customer needs, create partnerships, and lead development of others. Salary & Incentives Pay Range: $95,920.00 – $143,880.00 annually. Annual Incentive Compensation: Opportunity to earn variable compensation in commission at 67%, per the applicable sales incentive plan.
