A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist with experience in both retail and hospital pharmacy settings. This role is located in Elk Grove, CA, near Sacramento, and is suited for candidates who bring a strong background in medication dispensing and patient care within a hospital environment.
Location:
- Elk Grove, CA (Sacramento area)
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on proper usage
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage medication inventory and maintain regulatory compliance
- Support hospital pharmacy operations and protocols as needed
- Provide clinical advice and support to patients and staff
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacist with current credentials
- Experience in retail pharmacy practice
- Some hospital pharmacy experience is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
