Position Overview: TheOperations Administratorat Pref-Tech will beresponsible
assisting the Project Managers and operations staff with any administrative functions including but not limited to issuing purchase orders, creating project documentation such as data submittals, O&M manuals, and warranty documents. This role would be considered for Austin, Houston or Dallas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement:
- EnterPurchase Ordersfor ProjectManagersafter they have sent you the BOM (Bill of Materials)
- Track Order Confirmations
- Vendor Information
- Liaise withAccountingteam to ensure operations team compliance with the following:
- Interface with APregardingmaterial procurement, receipt, and handling
- Assistwith pay apps
- Enable assist with end-of-project closeout deliverables (warranties, O&M manuals, etc.)
- Enable/assist PMs with project deliverables (product data submittals, job-specific safety certs, job specific badging, etc.)
- Schedule andmaintaintrainingrecords
- Backup to Warehouse Associate (general receiving duties as needed)
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- At least 3 years relevant administrative experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Abilityto hold others accountable to completing their assigned tasks, even if they hold positions of greater responsibility.
- Fluency with Microsoft Office 365 software tools.
- Willingness to take on new challenges and build on current skills.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Capacityto work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of administrative experience in construction or project-based industry
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365

Work Hours:
Our office hours are from Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There is no set schedule for field personnel as work scheduled vary depending on client needs.
Physical Requirement:
This position is primarily office-based and requires the ability to sit for extended periods, operate a computer and standard office equipment, and communicate effectively in person and electronically. Occasional light lifting (up to 15 lbs.) may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
