Senior Program Coordinator, Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center Breast Cancer Program (951003) Job Summary: Coordinates operations of the SCCC Breast Cancer Program, providing operational and administrative support, planning, development, and implementation of standards to meet short‑ and long‑term objectives. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, implement, and develop processes and procedures for program activities. Coordinate scientific meetings, conferences, and retreats from conception through execution. Collaborate with internal and external partners to provide guidance, resolve issues, and improve program processes. Administer submission of large program project grants in partnership with the Grants Team. Assess communication needs and coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including trans‑institutional partners and industry partners. Plan, monitor, and manage program fiscal budgets and financials. Job Duties: Direct, analyze, coordinate, and evaluate program operations and procedures. Develop or oversee program budget. Establish and maintain working relationships with internal/external departments and agencies. Set program goals, direct evaluation and quality control activities, develop schedules, priorities, and standards. Recommend new policies and procedures to improve program activities. Plan and coordinate special events, participate in conferences, and present data. Design and execute internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure reliable financial information. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Coordinate training and development of staff as necessary. Stay current with relevant scientific and technical developments. Serve on committees as program representative. Provide supervision to staff members (as required). Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Education/Social Science, or related field. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of education. Preferred: Minimum 2 years in supervisory capacity.
