Cost Accountant

Venteon Finance is currently seeking a Cost Accountant for a growing non-automotive manufacturing.

Requirements for the Cost Accountant role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of manufacturing Cost Accounting experience
• Experience with Standard Costing and Inventory Accounting
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• ERP Systems Experience

Responsibilities of the Cost Accountant role:

• Maintain and analyze standard costs (materials, labor, overhead)
• Prepare and analyze manufacturing variances including PPV, usage, labor, and overhead
• Support month-end close related to inventory, COGS, and manufacturing variances
• Support annual standard cost roll-ups and ongoing cost maintenance
• Support inventory controls including cycle counts and physical inventories
• Other projects and duties as assigned
