Assistant Store Manager Reports to: Store Manager FLSA Status: Exempt Department: Retail Location: St. Peters - 150 Mid Rivers Mall Circle, St. Peters, MO 63376 Pay: $52,000 - $54,000 DOE Position Summary The Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in leading daily dispensary operations and shaping Mint Cannabis’s store culture. This individual is responsible for motivating, mentoring, and managing a team of 25–30 team members while ensuring compliance, customer satisfaction, and high operational standards. The role requires strong leadership, a passion for cannabis education, and a commitment to creating a welcoming and compliant environment. Responsibilities Provide daily leadership and operational direction for 25–30 store team members. Train, mentor, and inspire staff while fostering a positive team culture. Handle all retail operations, including product orders, inventory, customer service, and cash handling. Execute and enforce all Missouri compliance protocols. Coordinate daily sales reporting, financial performance, and KPI tracking. Handle escalated customer issues and uphold customer service excellence. Partner with HR to support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and phase progression. Create team schedules, approve time‑off requests, and manage shift coverage. Manage inventory responsibilities. Support physical store security, including opening/closing procedures and safe/code management. Lead daily and monthly team meetings to review store goals and progress. Provide ongoing feedback to support employee evaluations and performance reviews. Willing to support other store roles as needed. Have a strong understanding of Dutchie 0.02 and running operational reports. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervise team members across all departments of the retail store. Provide input on performance evaluations, phase progression, and scheduling. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Must obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card in accordance with Missouri state regulations.

1. year of experience in a retail management or people leadership role is required.
2. years of customer service experience preferred.

1+ year of Cannabis retail experience is required. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage high-volume customer interactions. Strong decision‑making, conflict resolution, and time‑management skills. Detail‑oriented with a focus on process and operational efficiency. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a dynamic retail environment. Flexible to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and a 7‑day retail schedule if needed. Education and Certifications High school diploma or equivalent required. No specific certifications required; management training or coursework preferred.
