Automotive Service TechnicianThe Automotive Service Technician at Elko Motor Company is responsible for diagnosing and repairing various automotive issues for our customers. This position involves working on vehicles of different makes and models, utilizing advanced technical knowledge and expertise to provide high-quality service. The successful candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, along with excellent problem-solving skills.Benefits:FREE college for employees and family membersCompetitive compensation: $22 - $42 per flagged hourOpportunities for career advancement and growthHealthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement savings plan with employer matchPaid vacation and holidaysEmployee discounts on vehicle purchases and servicesResponsibilities:Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.Requirements:Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician or similar roleStrong knowledge of vehicle systems and mechanicsProficient in using diagnostic tools and equipmentExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work well in a fast-paced environmentGreat attention to detail and accuracyValid driver's license with a clean driving recordCertification from a recognized automotive training program is preferredAbout the Company:Elko Motor Company is a reputable automotive dealership located in Elko, Nevada.
