Assembler Lexington, VA
Modine in Lexington, VA is hiring Assemblers to support production operations. In this role, you will build and assemble components using drawings, tools, and work instructions while rotating across multiple stations. This is a great opportunity for individuals with manufacturing or general labor experience looking for steady work, competitive pay, and multiple shift options.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret dimensional drawings and blueprints
- Assemble units including casings, frames, and A-coils
- Use hand and power tools such as impact guns, pliers, and wrenches
- Route wiring and connect sub-assemblies
- Rotate between workstations as needed
- Inspect parts and identify/report defects
- Track and record completed work
- Follow all safety and production guidelines
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in assembly, production, or general labor
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Basic blueprint or drawing interpretation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buena Vista, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.23 - $25.73/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
