Dept of Periodontics, Assistant Professor/Clinical, Dental Hygienist UT Health San Antonio, School of Dentistry The Department of Periodontics, Division of Dental Hygiene at the UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry is seeking applications for a full-time faculty position focused on providing laboratory, clinical and didactic instruction for dental hygiene students. Master’s degree in dental hygiene or related field preferred; or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS, DMD, or BDS). Registered dental hygienist or dentist with a current Texas license. Three years of clinical experience. Educational experience, preferred but not required. Job Responsibilities Designing and delivering instruction in clinical, laboratory, and didactic settings. Serving as a professional role model for students. Assisting with the coordination of clinical activities and student schedules. Teaching and course administration in the Entry Level, Bachelor Completion, and Master’s level courses, using case-based instruction, group discussion, clinical lecture, demonstration, and simulation. Participating in the faculty practice clinic of the department.
