Assembler – 1st Shift

Pay: $18.64 per hour Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Job Description: We are looking for dependable Assemblers to join a production team in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. This position involves assembling, building, repairing, and reworking kits while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and safety. The ideal candidate has good hand-eye coordination, strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive hands-on work throughout the shift. Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble parts and components according to established work instructions
• Place the correct parts and quantities into kits with a high level of accuracy
• Maintain an adequate supply of parts at the assigned workstation
• Visually inspect parts and verify correct quantities
• Notify the appropriate team member when parts or supplies need to be replenished
• Handle various shapes and sizes of parts throughout the production process
• Identify and report defective or nonconforming products
• Prevent nonconforming products from continuing through the production process
• Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Perform other production and assembly duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience preferred
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Basic math and counting skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to perform repetitive hands-on tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Strong commitment to safety and quality

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
• Frequent reaching, grasping, and repetitive hand movements
• Manual dexterity to handle parts and tools of various shapes and sizes
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly and production tasks
• Comfortable working in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment
