Software Engineering Manager (PEGA)

Position Overview As a Software Engineering Manager within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA. This role leads senior engineering across multiple Agile teams delivering enterprise Pega solutions. Core Management Responsibilities Manage multiple development crews and complex Pega delivery initiatives across a major business segment. Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for Pega engineers and technical leads. Ensure predictable delivery through effective planning, staffing, and dependency management. Partner with product, architecture, risk, and operations stakeholders to align Pega solutions to business goals. Ensure compliance with PNC enterprise risk management, security, and regulatory standards. Own Pega engineering quality, delivery metrics, and continuous improvement across teams. Drive adoption of standard SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices within the Pega platform. Additional Responsibilities Manage development projects, teams, and application support functions. Oversee multiple application programming and analysis projects including development, installation, and maintenance of application programs. Monitor and maintain adherence and compliance to quality standards on an ongoing basis. Maximize staff contribution through professional growth and development, increasing teamwork and effectively meeting business needs. Analyze applications to ensure all systems meet business needs and specifications.
