# Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** October 12, 2026 **Location:** Pasadena, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Day shift, 1:1 patient ratio; on-call responsibilities include weekdays and one weekend per month**Highlights:** - Multi-specialty Operating Room with 10 beds and a collaborative team of 54 staff members- Diverse case mix including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, gynecology, ENT, and vascular procedures- Experience with open, laparoscopic, and robotic surgical techniques including robotic orthopedics and gynecological cases- EMR system: Meditech, transitioning to Expanse- Day shift team includes Clinical Nurse Coordinator, RNs, Surgical Technologists, and support staff- 13-week contract in a dynamic, fast-paced surgical environment**Requirements:** - Active RN license in Texas (or eligibility for licensure)- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience- Required experience: Orthopedics, general surgery, urology, and gynecology- Preferred experience: ENT, vascular (non-cardiac), and pediatric cases- BSN preferred- Strong initiative, adaptability, and excellent teamwork skills**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This position offers the chance to work in a high-volume, multi-specialty OR where you'll expand your surgical expertise across a wide range of procedures and technologies.
