Public Sector Inside Sales Rep

Job Overview Inside Sales Representative – Public Sector (Hybrid – Boise, Idaho) This is a hybrid role, required to work onsite (three days per week) at Ericsson’s office in Boise, Idaho. Relocation is not offered. Responsibilities Achieve territory sales objectives through selling products and services to new customers. Identify sales opportunities via lead generation, follow‑up, networking, and relationship building with potential customers, carriers, and partners. Adopt Ericsson’s sales methodology and adhere to our sales process. Make recommendations that align customer business needs with our technology solutions and services. Manage the sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation, and close. Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about Ericsson products and services. Develop and maintain an understanding of the territory, marketplace, and competitive offerings. Establish and maintain a clean and healthy pipeline. Provide accurate and dependable quarterly sales forecasts. Key Qualifications Three to five (3‑5) years of sales experience, preferably in a tech field. Documented success achieving and exceeding assigned quotas. Experience presenting sales demonstrations to clients. Consultative, solution‑based sales methodology. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. AA degree (Marketing/Business preferred) or equivalent experience. Desired Skills and Bonus Points Experience with networks and/or cellular carriers. Successful B2B sales experience with a strong emphasis on acquiring new customers. Variable compensation includes commissions as part of Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Variable Compensation Plan.
