This position will support our Pediatric Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit ( , the only freestanding, comprehensive pediatric inpatient rehabilitation program in the state of Iowa.

Schedule /Benefits

• 3 shifts per week, self-scheduled 6pm-6am, every 3 rd weekend

• Benefit eligible , including medical, dental, vision plans, retirement with company match , and generous PTO accrual , including 16 hours of PTO front-loaded

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Within the nursing scope of practice, physician’s orders, and the care plan, make decisions and deliver a full range of nursing care based on the fundamentals of the nursing process.

• Maintain accurate, completed, and timely records as defined by nursing standards of practice and ChildServe policies and procedures.

• Communicate effectively, respectfully, and professionally with residents, physicians, families, school personnel, ChildServe staff, and others to assure assigned child’s care needs are assessed, communicated, and met.

• Provide training to patients, families, and staff as needed to help advance the skills and knowledge of all people associated with a child’s care delivery.

• Demonstrate good stewardship of ChildServe equipment, supplies, and environment.

What You’ll Need

• Current valid license as an RN in Iowa .

• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 90 days and before working independently.

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs , be mobile within the clinic areas, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.

• Ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing and speaking the English language.
