Senior Electrical Power Systems Engineer Department: Liquids Pipeline Unit supporting liquid pipeline assets across the U.S. About the Role: Senior-level individual contributor supporting electrical power systems for pipeline operations. Provides 24/7/365 operational support, project installation oversight, and technical guidance to field technicians and specialists. Mentors junior engineers but has no direct reports. Responsibilities: Support electrical operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for liquid pipeline assets. Provide technical oversight for electrical project installations. Develop and support electrical specifications and standards. Support medium-voltage power systems and company-owned substations. Provide expertise in power system modeling, protective relaying/power protection, substation design, and power system design. Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and develop technical solutions. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight to field personnel. Required/Preferred Skills: Strong electrical power systems background. Experience with medium-voltage systems and substations. Experience with power system modeling and protection/relaying. Operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting experience preferred. Pipeline experience preferred; utility or power generation experience will also be considered. Strong power experience with limited pipeline experience can be considered. Operations, maintenance, or field-service experience preferred over EPC/consulting-only experience.
