Overview
Registered Nurse (Med Surg/Tele) – Saint Louis, Missouri, United States. Start date 06/29/2026 for a travel assignment spanning multiple weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,128–$2,186 per week with 36 guaranteed hours on a 3x12 night shift. Work on an acute care hospital unit focusing on Orthopedic, Neurology, Med/Surg, and Stroke care, with an approximate daily census around 21 patients.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients on the Med/Surg/Tele Neuro-Ortho unit, including orthopedic, neurology, stroke, and general medical-surgical care
- Monitor telemetry (unit and remote) and manage IVs; PICC line management as needed; administer PCA and related pain management
- Deliver care for CVA/stroke and total joint replacement patients; implement isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans; document in EPIC with accurate charting and timely updates
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and participate in rounds; assist with patient mobilization and rehabilitative activities
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to unit policies; support a smooth patient flow on the unit

Requirements
- Active RN license in Missouri; pending license accepted
- Required certifications: BCLS and NIHSS; ACLS required by system policy where applicable
- Experience: 2+ years RN experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
- Skills: Telemetry monitoring; IV start/maintenance; PICC line management; PCA experience; care for CVA/stroke and total joint replacement patients; isolation precautions/PPE
- Floating: May float to other units (excluding ICU, SDU, and ED) as needed
- Locals: Not accepted within a 75-mile radius
- Compliance: Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required (exemptions as applicable); pre-start requirements including vaccines, labs, and modular training per policy
