Clackamas County Court Volunteer (age 21+) Referral NAMI CLACKAMAS is a grassroots organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for everyone impacted by mental health issues through support, education, and advocacy. Our vision is one of hope, health, acceptance, and community for everyone impacted by mental illness. NAMI Clackamas has an immediate need for an individual who would like to volunteer for 1 hour every other Monday morning at the Aid and Assist Court from 9:00am - 10:00am, (arrive by 8:45am) held at the Clackamas County Courthouse in Oregon City. The Volunteer would assist family members of jail or State Hospital incarcerated individuals who aren't able to assist their attorney in defending their criminal matter and must go through a restorative process before the case can be resolved. Your role would be to talk with the family members about no-cost, barrier-free NAMI Clackamas programs that are available to them. Training will be provided. Opportunity Requirements: Volunteers must be 21 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity. Click on "Express Interest" below if you are interested in helping out!
