Pantry Host/Prep and Stock (age 13+) Referral Help our neighbors gain access to food through a number of opportunities at our food pantry. About the Program The Tualatin Food Pantry's mission is to alleviate food insecurity in our community in a welcoming way that brings dignity and choice to our neighbors. About the Project Thank you for your interest in volunteering! Last year our volunteers helped us provide healthy food in our shopping style pantry to over 49,000 Oregonians. Our volunteering roles include: Pantry Hosts: Assist clients in the pantry. Volunteers will work at specific stations welcoming clients and answering questions. Prep/Stock: Help us get ready for clients by putting signs out, organizing donations, getting carts ready, etc. Sign Up Here ► Volunteer Sign-Up Start times for all shifts: Monday: 8:45 am; 9:45 am; 11:30 am; 2:15 pm; 3:45 pm; 5:15 pm; Wednesday: 8:45 am; 9:45 am; 11:30 am; Thursday: 1:30 pm; 2:45 pm; 4:15 pm; Friday: 8:45 am; 9:45 am; 11:30 am. Volunteers will gain experience in customer service, warehouse operations and organization, stocking and safe food handling practices. Please dress in layers during winter months. Closed-toed shoes are strongly encouraged for safety and sanitation. Project Requirements Age: Volunteers must be at least 13 years old.
