Stewardship Day at Glendoveer (all ages) Referral
Hands On Portland
Stewardship Day at Glendoveer (all ages) Referral Metro manages more than 19,000 acres of parks and natural areas. By participating in this stewardship activity you are helping decommission unofficial trails, preventing erosion and restoring needed habitat for local animals, insects and birds. Participants have the opportunity to gain knowledge of native plants, invasive plants, and the opportunity to build community while restoring nature in an urban area. Learn about our team's restoration journey with community at this site and ways to get involved in the future. About the Project Participants will plant native plants and shrubs, remove weeds, spread mulch and tend to the nature patch near the entrance of the parking lot on 148th and Halsey.
