ScanFair - Nordic Christmas Market (age 12+) Referral Celebrate the sights, sounds, tastes and traditions of a Nordic Christmas! Be part of the crew and help us with set-up, admissions, volunteer & entertainer entrance, stage management, craft area, booths and more. Volunteers will be helping with all aspects of the Nordic Christmas Market - from checking in attendees at admissions to helping with a wide variety of crafts in the kids & craft area, to stage management, event set-up and event take-down, stage decorations and greeting, Raffle, and more. Nordic Northwest is a nonprofit organization focused on the five Nordic nations: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. The mission of Nordic Northwest is to: Highlight, honor, educate, communicate, promote and celebrate Nordic culture and traditions, ancestral, modern and contemporary. Provide value and serve members by developing and making available and accessible Nordic cultural and educational programming that is rich, authentic and forward looking. Volunteers participating in this opportunity will help highlight, communicate and celebrate Nordic culture and traditions (especially pertaining to Christmas). Shifts are between 2.5-3 hours.
