Spring for Zenger Nature Craft Volunteers (age 21+) Referral Learn about different nature crafts such as seed saving, creating DIY seed packets, and making Japanese seed balls. About the Program Zenger Farm is a nonprofit urban and organic farm that models, promotes and educates about sustainable food systems, environmental stewardship, community development and access to good food for all. Volunteer will learn about different nature crafts such as seed saving, creating DIY seed packets, and making Japanese seed balls. About the Project About Spring for Zenger: Spring for Zenger kicks off the growing season and the joys of spring with community! We will be giving away vegetable starts, herb starts, seeds, and other garden-related goodies to help attendees get their home garden started. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from our Farm Team during our propagation workshops, explore the farm on guided tours and scavenger hunt, and eat a farm fresh lunch. About Nature Craft Volunteers: Spring for Zenger Nature Craft Volunteers will provide guidance on how to do the nature crafts we will be offering at the event. Crafts will range from DIY seed packets, Japanese seed balls, and more! Volunteers will support with setting up activities, lead activity stations, and refill nature craft supplies. Please indicate which shift you are available for: Shift 1: 9:30am - 11:30am Shift 2: 11:30am - 2:00pm Project Requirements Age: Volunteers must be 21+ Notices Referral Opportunity: This opportunity is run directly by one of our nonprofit partners.
