KēSTA I.T is actively seeking a Business Analyst for an immediate contract engagement with our client.

Job Description :

We Are Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support business initiatives, technology projects, and operational work requests through requirements gathering, process analysis, stakeholder engagement, and solution planning. This role will serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating discussions and developing process models, strategies, and requirements to support ongoing enhancements and technology improvements.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience conducting business process reviews, eliciting and documenting requirements, managing user stories in Agile environments, and collaborating with senior management to establish strategic direction and resolve competing priorities. This position requires a customer-focused, self-directed professional who can quickly understand organizational policies, procedures, and constraints while building strong relationships, adapting to changing needs, and helping stakeholders successfully navigate project requirements.

Responsibilities:

· Serve as a primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, project teams, and organizational partners to ensure clear communication and alignment.

· Provide business analysis support for technology projects, application enhancements, operational initiatives, and incoming work requests.

· Conduct business process reviews, requirements elicitation sessions, stakeholder interviews, and discovery workshops to identify business needs and improvement opportunities.

· Facilitate discussions to define business objectives, develop strategies and roadmaps, document requirements, and establish priorities.

· Develop process models, business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation to guide solution design and implementation.

· Create, refine, prioritize, and manage user stories throughout the Agile development lifecycle.

· Collaborate with senior management to resolve conflicting priorities, build consensus, and support informed decision-making.

· Help stakeholders understand applicable policies, procedures, operational constraints, and compliance requirements that may affect project execution.

· Provide customer-focused guidance to help business teams navigate organizational processes and successfully complete project initiatives and work requests.

· Evaluate business needs and recommend process improvements, application enhancements, and technology solutions that support operational objectives.

· Work with developers, project managers, testers, and business representatives to clarify requirements and support successful delivery.

· Support project planning, scope clarification, requirements validation, and the assessment of proposed changes.

· Assist with the development, review, and compliance of statements of work, contracts, and other formal project agreements as needed.

· Contribute to multiple concurrent projects and work requests while maintaining organized documentation, clear communication, and timely follow-through.

· Document business rules, decisions, action items, dependencies, workflows, and process changes to support project transparency and continuity.

· Adapt to evolving business needs, shifting priorities, and new assignments while maintaining productive stakeholder relationships.

· Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis practices, team processes, and stakeholder service delivery.

Required Skills

· 7+ years of experience conducting business process reviews, eliciting and documenting requirements, and developing process models.

· 5+ years of experience developing, refining, or managing user stories within Agile software development projects.

· 2+ years of experience working directly with senior management to facilitate strategic discussions, develop roadmaps, build consensus, and resolve opposing viewpoints.

· 2+ years of experience supporting projects that develop or implement IT solutions intended for public use.

· Strong knowledge of business analysis practices, requirements management, process modeling, and stakeholder engagement.

· Experience translating business needs into actionable requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.

· Ability to facilitate meetings and workshops, manage competing perspectives, and guide stakeholders toward shared objectives.

· Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to quickly understand new business environments, policies, procedures, constraints, and project objectives.

· Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams, and senior leadership.

· Ability to manage multiple assignments, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

· 2+ years of experience supporting the development of, reviewing, or ensuring compliance with statements of work, contracts, or other formal work agreements.

· 1+ year of experience working with programs governed by state or federal regulations.

· Experience supporting public-sector technology initiatives or applications used by the general public.

· Experience working in regulated environments where business processes and technology solutions must align with established policies and compliance requirements.

· Experience contributing to strategic roadmaps, technology enhancement planning, and cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
