Paint Specialist

F-35 Coating Specialist, Sylmar, CA Pay Rate: $31.85 Shift and Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday Friday, 5:00am 1:30pm, Overtime as needed. As an F-35 Coating Specialist, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Primary Responsibilities Working in a production environment with a high level of safety awareness. Following all PPG safety protocols and encouraging a broad safety culture. Applying organic coatings to acrylic, polycarbonate, and glass substrates. Working in a cleanroom environment that requires wearing PPE. Working with solvents such as I.P.A and Acetone. Having good record keeping skills. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Positively contributing to a team environment. Collaborating with team members and supporting team engagement initiatives. Being proficient with using a computer and having a basic understanding of Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook. Performing TPMs on equipment. Wearing a respirator. Monitoring UV curing robots. Qualifications Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day. Minimum 1-5 year's Coating Experience. Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
