Job Title: Project Manager (Operations Manager Global Philanthropy) Duration: Through December 31, 2026 (With potential extension and conversion)Location: North chicago, IL 60064 (Hybrid)Summary: The Operations Manager for the Global Philanthropy team is responsible for maximizing the impact of the Foundation for patients, communities, and our employees. This person will lead our metrics, data, and insights across the function, serve as the investigation lead for employee inquiries for employee engagement programs, coordinate with individuals across the function and lead operations. Additionally, the role will serve as the processing hub for grants from end to end including disaster relief and community grants. The Operations Manager is critical to the Global Philanthropy function operating successfully and efficiently. This role will have significant employee, team, and community impact in the quest to help individuals live their healthiest lives. The Manager will report to the Sr. Director, Global Philanthropy and will be part of the broader Corporate Responsibility & Global Philanthropy organization.Primary Responsibilities:GP Dashboard, Metrics, Insights, and Measurement:Build and maintain Global Philanthropy dashboard, a new technology that merges function systems (Cybergrants, YourCause, Benevity) input and output to measure impact of all programsOversee data management by collecting and organizing metrics, data, KPIs, results, and insights for consistent measurement and tracking for leadership, ESG reporting, and auditsPrepare and synthesize metrics capturing the status and impact of philanthropic partners for quarterly reports and ad hoc requests to ensure accountability and support communicationsIntegrate robotic process automation in data entry and routine tasksLead development of AI-driven predictive maintenance systems, built in templates to reduce administrative tasks, collaboration tools to connect teams and functionsOversee day-to-day management of US Global Philanthropy budget including monitoring and reportingGlobal PhilanthropyOversee community grants, including evaluating prospective community grantees and processing of grants for alignment with compliance and company FoundationEngage with grantees on behalf of company Foundation, including relationship management, responding to inquiries, and troubleshootingCoordinate with the employee giving and volunteering leads to support grants and invoice processingSupport the Global Philanthropy team in executing contracts and grants through platforms such as CybergrantsInvestigate and resolve company employee inquiries to efficiently manage giving, scholarships, relief, volunteer, and the foundationOperations & AdministrativeManage operations and processes including invoice management, grant-making, reporting, tracking, and project managementLead invoice management for foundation and corporate initiatives to ensure timely payments and status trackingManage Cybergrants platform, including management of grants databaseBuild and manage reporting and compliance tools, and real-time on-demand metric systemsLead internal contracting and grant execution and stakeholder engagement with local community partnersBuild and maintain internet and intranet sites supporting Global Philanthropy and company employeesOversee audits and filings on behalf of the company FoundationLead Corporate Donation process including training, Corporate Donations Review Committee (CDRC), coordinating with Ops, Compliance,Owner of consistent process for vetting partners, vendors, and programs including criteriaPrimary lead for external and internal legal partners, and internal OEC and corporate operations stakeholdersQualifications and Skills Required:Bachelors Degree required, Masters degree preferred5+ years operations experienceDemonstrated experience in building dashboard or other major reporting, metric tool for multiple end-usersDatabase creation and managing metrics and evaluation systemsAdept with new technology systemsStrong communications skillsDemonstrated ability to process and translate information into solutionsCollaborative, team-oriented mindset and ways of workingDemonstrated experience with project management and successfully managing multiple projectsStrong organizational and administrative skillsExperience in invoice management and financial trackingProficiency in using reporting and compliance management toolsExcellent communication and email management skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamDetail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectivelyAdditionally: Manages/directs the activities and people associated with small to large scale projects with a focus on any or several non-IT business applications and disciplines.Manage/direct all facets of single or multiple, multidimensional, mission-critical projects through the Full Project Life Cycle.Collaborate/work with project sponsors, business units and users to identify project scope and focus, develop or monitor project initiatives, implement project requirements/plans/processes/tools, assign/guide/monitor project staff, and assure project success.Deliver quality project solutions to business problems or issues within defined budgets and/or timelines.Provide expert project guidance/support proactively through project completion.Provide tracking, reporting, and presentation to management and users.Applicant Notices & DisclaimersFor information on benefits, equal opportunity employment, and location-specific applicant notices, click here
