Budget Analyst

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We require an associates degree, ideally in a financial or business field, or an additional 2 years of relevant experience.
• We require at least 2 years of experience using a federal financial or accounting system, preferably for updating accounts, records, reports, and controls.
• We need a strong understanding of the budget execution process at the individual document level.
• We require an active Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI before starting.
• We require eligibility for access to Special Access Program information.
• We require an SSBI completed within the past 6 years.
• We require the ability to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
• We require the ability to move throughout the office as needed to access equipment and materials.
• We require strong communication skills to exchange accurate information with coworkers, management, and customers.

• We serve as the primary functional contact and financial liaison for a program or portfolio.
• We provide budget execution support and monitor day-to-day budget and financial matters across varied needs, goals, and objectives.
• We work with budget analysts and internal and external stakeholders to develop, coordinate, and consolidate program review materials and budget data for Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution cycles.
• We offer advice, assistance, and guidance on financial accounting and related information while performing analyses, reviews, and special studies of budget and related data.
• We use budgetary and other proprietary automated systems and computer-generated products to support execution activities.
• We provide detailed status updates on documents and any execution issues to government stakeholders as needed.

We are ManTech, and we are seeking a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Budget Analyst to join our team in Arlington, VA. This is an onsite role. We are looking for someone who can support a dynamic program environment and collaborate closely with stakeholders to help drive budget execution activities.
