Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN with a focus on Med Surg for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role involves working with post-surgical patients, including orthopedics, general surgery, and neuro populations, using EPIC systems in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitoring effectiveness and side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to other care providers

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• BLS certification from AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• At least 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred
