Senior Product Manager

Description


This is a high-impact enterprise product leadership mandate for an executive who can define and scale the strategic vision for a global Central Data Warehouse (Central DW) and Enterprise Data Platform. The successful candidate will own product strategy, operating model, governance, roadmap, and execution for one of the organization's most business-critical data platforms, influencing board-level technology and finance stakeholders while driving measurable business outcomes. #LI-SC3


Requirements


• 18+ years leading enterprise software or data platform products within Retail, FMCG or Consumer Packaged Goods.
• Demonstrated ownership of products serving thousands of enterprise users across multiple geographies.
• Track record of influencing executive committees and securing multi-million-dollar investment decisions.
• Exceptional commercial acumen with experience translating business strategy into scalable digital capabilities.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, value realization, ROI modelling and executive business cases.
• Experience leading globally distributed engineering organizations without direct authority.

Job responsibilities


What You Will Own
• Enterprise Product Strategy, Vision, Roadmap and multi-year investment planning.
• End-to-end ownership of Data Platform, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Semantic Layer, Data Products and self-service analytics capabilities.
• Backlog management using outcome-based prioritization (RICE, WSJF, OKRs).
• Global stakeholder alignment across Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, Marketing, Manufacturing, Procurement and Digital.
• Executive communication with CFOs, CIOs, CTOs, CDOs and Business Unit Presidents.
• Operating model, product governance, portfolio management, value realization and KPI ownership.
• Product discovery, customer research, design thinking, experimentation, A/B testing and adoption strategy.
• Cross-functional leadership across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Security and Platform Operations.


Technical Expertise
• Enterprise Data Warehouse modernization (Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse, Teradata, SAP BW/HANA or equivalent).
• Lakehouse architecture, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Master Data Management (MDM), Metadata Management and Data Catalogs.
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Data integration using Informatica, Fivetran, dbt, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Talend or equivalent.
• API-first architecture, event-driven architecture, microservices and enterprise integration patterns.
• Data governance, lineage, quality, observability, privacy, security and regulatory compliance.
• BI & analytics ecosystems including Power BI, Tableau, Looker, ThoughtSpot and enterprise semantic models.
• Agile Product Management using Jira, Azure DevOps, SAFe, Scrum and Lean Portfolio Management.


GL Duties and Responsibitliies

• Understand Globallogic's strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized best in the industry for the customers.
• Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
• Manage multiple products and priorities, scale teams, and ensure org is effective, healthy and set up for success by establishing clear and measurable goals
• Identify and initiate opportunities for new projects or focus areas and builds teams necessary to execute
• Understand innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the organization
• Drive product development with a team of global engineers and designers
• Attract, build, manage, and develop a talented, diverse, equitable and inclusive team of product managers and product leaders
• Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
• Work with internal and external customers to analyze market data and align product roadmap to strategic goals.
• Identify and initiate opportunities for new projects or focus areas and builds teams necessary to execute

GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed in USA is $160,000 to $180,000, and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.
