Neuroscience Account Manager (Psychiatry) - Phoenix, AZ S

Primary Responsibilities Execute and promote products in alignment with sales strategy in the assigned territory. Collaborate frequently with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion strategy. Analyze local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in the defined territory. Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competition, and reimbursement. Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (e.g., budgets, time) in the territory. Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate effectively with target audiences. Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels. Secure product access and reimbursement in institutional systems as needed. Manage travel and promotional budget. Complete required monitoring and reporting (expenses, call reporting) using approved systems. Meet credentialing requirements for healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments. Perform additional ad‑hoc projects as needed. Education & Experience Requirements BS/BA with GPA > 3.0. Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred (non‑matching candidates may be considered for “Associate” role). Preferred: atypical anti‑psychotic and/or orphan drug experience; specialty experience in psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS, or pain management; reimbursement experience. Preferred relationships with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers (existing or within 24 months). Valid driver’s license; clean driving history. Self‑starter with proven above‑average results; “hunter” mentality. Ability to travel (may include overnights) and work off‑hours meetings. Must reside within territory geography. Navigate complex organizations/markets; strong organization and work ethic. Manage multiple priorities independently; adapt to roadblocks. Computer proficiency; ability to lift/move up to 15 lbs occasionally.
