Patient Coordinator

With five locations throughout the Twin Cities metro area, Northwest Eye is among the largest specialty eye care providers in the Midwest. Our environment is both dynamic and adaptable! The variety of patients you interact with each day and cutting-edge eye health practices will keep you at the top of your game. Northwest Eye Clinic has an opening for a full-timePatient Coordinator. This position would be at our Crosstown location.

SUMMARY

This individual is responsible for welcoming patients to the practice; treating all patients in a professional and courteous manner; checking-in patients; reviewing patient charts to verify necessary information and signatures; entering new patient information into the computer; answering the telephone; directing calls to appropriate personnel; scheduling appointments; enter in patient recalls. Starting pay is $18.50-$21.00/hour.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organization with attention to detail. Personable and empathetic with patient's needs and concerns. Ability to work as a team member. Respectful treatment of patients and co-workers.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

One year minimum experience in customer service. Experience in a medical practice is preferable.
