Corporate Debt Finance Associate

Akerman LLP is seeking a Corporate Debt Finance Associate with 3 to 4 years of experience to join its Corporate Finance and Lending team within the Corporate Practice Group. The preferred location for this position is Atlanta, Miami or New York; however, candidates may be based in any of Akerman’s offices within the Eastern Time Zone. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a broad range of debt finance transactions, including negotiating, structuring, and documenting complex financing transactions; representing private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and/or lenders; working on leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and related transactions and collaborating with deal teams on sophisticated corporate finance matters. Must possess an outstanding academic record (with a JD from an ABA accredited law school), along with excellent writing and analytical skills, and be a member of the Florida, Georgia or New York Bar, as applicable, or have the ability to obtain admission promptly in the appropriate jurisdiction. Annual base salary: $240,000 - $275,000 for New York.
