The Wyoming Department of Health's Division of Healthcare Financing, responsible for Medicaid and CHIP programs, is seeking a dedicated and organized Clerical Assistant Intermediate for a temporary, full-time position. This role provides crucial administrative and clerical support, ensuring the efficient operation of daily functions within a vital state department.

Clerical Assistant Intermediate Details:

• Temporary position
• $19.49 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )

• Perform general office duties including filing, making copies, and accurately distributing incoming and outgoing mail
• Act in a secretarial capacity to answer and direct phone calls, type correspondence, and draft memos
• Extensively utilize Windows operating system, Google Workspace applications (e.g., Gmail, Docs, Sheets), and email for daily tasks and communication
• Conduct data entry into spreadsheets and various databases with a high degree of accuracy
• Receive, analyze, and respond to requests for information in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain and track important information, records, and documents as required
• Assist administrative staff with the maintenance and updating of inventory records

Clerical Assistant Intermediate Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible office experience
• Working proficiency with Windows operating system, Google Workspace applications, and email
• Demonstrated working proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
• Basic level of knowledge and experience in data entry
• Experience performing receptionist duties, including managing multi-line phone systems preferred
• Business casual dress code
• Physical requirements include regular sitting, standing, bending, and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds
