Assistant Director – Preschool (Pearl Academy, Jacksonville)
Post:
We are seeking a strong, reliable Assistant Director to join our 5-star preschool team serving children ages 2.5–5.
This role supports daily operations, staff supervision, licensing compliance, and parent communication.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting classroom operations and ratios
- Assisting with staff scheduling and coverage
- Ensuring DCF compliance
- Communicating with parents via Brightwheel
- Helping lead a positive, structured environment
Requirements:
- Childcare leadership experience required
- Knowledge of DCF regulations preferred
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- CDA of higher
- Director's Credential preferred
- VPK teaching experience preferred
Schedule: Full-time (open/close flexibility required)
Pay: Based on experience
