Business Analyst I

SGF Global is seeking a motivated Business Analyst to support a project-based initiative in Anchorage, Alaska. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in business analysis, data management, process documentation, and project coordination. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to improve processes, support system implementations, maintain documentation, and help ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Research, analyze, and document business processes and operational requirements. Gather, organize, and maintain business and project documentation. Support data quality initiatives and ensure accurate data management practices. Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify process improvements. Assist with system implementation activities and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, and process documentation. Provide end-user training and support as needed. Track project activities, timelines, risks, and deliverables. Prepare reports, recommendations, and project updates for stakeholders. Support business process improvements through both automated and manual solutions. Maintain knowledge of evolving business analysis tools and best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, quality data entry, training, or related roles. Experience documenting business processes and gathering business requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project coordination abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting system implementations or business transformation projects. Knowledge of project management methodologies. Experience developing user documentation and training materials. Familiarity with business process improvement and change management initiatives.
