Salary Range: $78,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize existing automation systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements.
• Develop and implement control strategies using PLCs, HMIs, and industrial robots.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for automation-related issues.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation systems, including schematics, programs, and operating procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to production and maintenance teams on automation technologies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or control systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA, EtherNet/IP).
• Experience with robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) including programming, setup, and troubleshooting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for quality inspection and guidance.
• Familiarity with data acquisition and analysis tools (e.g., Ignition SCADA, SQL, Python for data scripting).
• Demonstrated ability to train production staff on new automated equipment and processes.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
