Prime PainterJoin our team as a Prime Painter, where you will have the opportunity to work a 1st shift schedule from 5am - 1pm or 6am - 2pm, Monday through Friday. Your role will include preparing and painting various parts with precision and care, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to specifications.ResponsibilitiesMix and measure paint according to specifications.Review work orders to confirm that mixed paint and parts match before painting in the booth.Clean parts as per specifications before painting.Paint parts according to specified thickness and coverage.Maintain paint booth filters and ensure the booth is free of foreign object debris (FOD).Complete all required paperwork accurately.Conduct post-paint inspections for appearance and proper coverage.Apply advanced painting skills to adapt to complex or non-routine situations.Observe safety regulations and wear protective masks and clothing during spray painting operations.Complete the daily paint checklist.Utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as per OSHA guidelines.Maintain all paint equipment in good condition.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsProficiency in painting and paint preparation.Ability to mix and measure paint accurately.Experience in industrial painting and the use of HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray guns.Capability to paint effectively on different surfaces and metals.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in aerospace or industrial painting is advantageous.Training on respirator usage will be provided.Why Work Here?Enjoy a long-term opportunity with job security for hardworking contractors.
