Prep Cook

We are seeking a skilled and organized Prep Cook to join our team and assist with the preparation of high-quality food for our guests. The Prep Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting with the production of menu items, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work area. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for menu items, including chopping vegetables, preparing food for the evening shift and completing salad bar
• Assist with the production of menu items, including following recipes and adhering to food safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and utensils, sanitizing surfaces, and properly storing food items
• Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines, including properly handling and storing food
• Assist with inventory management and organization of incoming deliveries
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Prefer 1 year of experience as a prep cook or in a similar role but willing to train the correct candidate
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of food safety standards and guidelines
• Basic math skills

• This is a morning position with hours being slightly flexible, 10:00am-2:00pm (or until tasks are completed)
• We are open Tuesday to Sunday ideal candidate will have weekday and weekend availability
