Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of pediatric patients to identify physical limitations and effectively develop individualized treatment plans that restore function, improve mobility, and relieve pain.
• Implement and administer therapeutic exercises and methods to ensure that each child receives the highest standard of care to meet their unique needs.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Educate and counsel patients' families on exercises, treatment goals, and home care programs to facilitate understanding and involvement in the therapeutic process.
• Maintain consistent communication with patients and their families regarding treatment progress, anticipated challenges, and strategies for overcoming obstacles to recovery.
• Coordinate with office staff and other therapists to enhance the continuity and effectiveness of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on pediatric patients, ranging from infants to adolescents, who face various physical challenges due to congenital disorders, injuries, or developmental delays. Your expertise will be pivotal in administering remedial treatments and using evidence-based methodologies to support each child's recovery journey. You will also play a significant role in ensuring that the needs of families are met throughout the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Physical Therapy License and a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Proven ability to engage effectively with pediatric patients and provide compassionate care.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and hospital medicine practices.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and approaches, including proficiency in trigger point therapy.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital is required, experience working specifically with children or in rehabilitation settings is highly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate an understanding of pediatric therapy practices and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually.
