Summary We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Software Development Engineer in Test (QA SDET) to join our dynamic team. The QA SDET will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests, ensuring the quality of our software products, and working closely with the development team to identify and fix defects. Responsibilities Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure the quality of our software applications. Manual Testing: Perform manual testing where necessary, including exploratory, regression, and functional testing. Test Planning and Design: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand product requirements and design test strategies and plans accordingly. Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools and work closely with the development team to resolve issues. Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to ensure the software meets performance benchmarks. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality checks. Code Review: Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards. Mentoring and Training: Provide guidance and training to junior QA engineers and developers on best practices for test automation and quality assurance. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test scripts, and test results. Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus. Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. Soft Skills: Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Attention to detail and a passion for quality.
