Staff Nurse - RN (Registered Nurse)

We are seeking dedicated Staff Nurses with a RN to join ourdiverse team in Elgin and be a part of our life-changing mission. We have flexible full-time and part-time shifts available withan hourly rate of $34.25/hr - $36.75/hrbased on qualifications andexperience. The position hasadditional differentials of $3 for MCDDon all shifts, $1 for PM weekdays, $2 for night weekdays, $5 for AMweekends, $6 for PM weekends and $7 for night weekends. Our PRN/IHR(On-Call) RN rate is $37/hr with an additional $2 differential for weekends. Joining Marklund is about being part of something bigger. Who We Are: Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential,educational and therapy services to infants, children, teens andadults with serious and profound developmental disabilities andspecial healthcare needs. With two residential locations – theMarklund Hyde Center in Geneva and the Marklund Wasmond Center inElgin, it is currently home to nearly 178 residents. The Marklund DaySchool offers Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs for children andyoung adults with multiple medical needs, and those diagnosed on theautism spectrum. In addition, our Community Day Services program ateach site is a therapeutic day program for adults who reside atMarklund and those who come in from the community. Through clinical excellence, caring practice and extraordinaryteamwork, Marklund nurses boldly advance the practice of nursing everyday. You will make a difference in the lives of our residents in thefollowing ways: Administer medications, tube feedings and treatments as prescribed. Prepare quarterly health assessments and annual assessments. Inform the physician of changes in resident health status andimplements physicians order to assure optimal health care. Complete daily charting for care provided. Act as a liaison between residents,parents, physicians,consultants and case manager regarding resident status.
